who i am

As a wife, mother and entrepreneur, I draw lessons from my personal experiences to help students become leaders in their families and communities. My greatest calling is raising my two daughters with my ranching/coaching husband in rural Oklahoma. When we are not busy with school or church activities, you can find us rooting for the OKC Thunder, or our Alma Mater, Oklahoma State University, where I studied agricultural communications.

what i do

My term as a state officer for the Oklahoma FFA Association catapulted me toward a life of leadership, career success and servant leadership. Encouraging students to squeeze all the value out of their student leadership experience is a big part of what I do. Because of the network of friends I made during my own leadership experience, I have spoken to tens of thousands of students in 12 states.

 

When I show up, my goal is to engage students in a high-energy, emotionally safe environment, which often includes story-telling, dancing, thinking, and  creating memories together. My custom-made programs range in content from character, leadership, and service, to surviving the high school years, professionalism, and student success habits. From advanced leaders who are hungry for specific strategies, to students who are due for a break-through moment, I take special care to share in a way that can connect with every student in the room.

In addition to professional speaking, I own a graphic and web design company, Oklahoma Graphics. My experience as a young woman entrepreneur in the digital sector affords countless opportunities for growth in personal development, boldness, grit, humility, failing forward, teamwork, and gratitude- lessons that I love to share with students.

what i care about

Whether I’m leading a meeting around a board room table, telling an auditorium full of students a story, cheering for my girls at a t-ball game, or helping with a fundraiser for the local PTO, I believe in propelling students toward a meaningful life of loving their families, chasing their goals and serving others.
